Task 2 : Science concept that used in engineering.

Explain an example of 1 science concept that used in engineering. 




Based on article that provided by Dr. Fadhilah, i can see the differences between scientist and engineer. Science aims to know while engineering aims to do. Science concept that used in engineering is science is a nature behaves in predictable ways. Searching for explanations is the major activity of science because effects cannot occur without causes. In that article it says that engineers do what they do because they want to solve some real-world problem.  


One of the concepts that is used in engineering is Newton's first law of motion which is closely related to inertia which is the tendency of an object to remain stationary or move. For example, when a bus stops suddenly, passengers will move forward. This is because passengers have inertia that makes them move backwards or forwards. The same situation where, if a car driver who is not wearing a seat belt and hit something in front, the driver will be thrown out. This is due to the driver's ability to keep moving even when the car stops. Therefore, to prevent the driver and passengers from suffering injuries, engineer modified the car with the seat belt to reduce the effects of inertia and prevent the driver and passengers from being thrown forward.

Assalamualaikum everyone. This is my  video assignment related to physics concept. I choose energy. Energy is defined as the “ability to do work, which is the ability to exert a force causing displacement of an object.” Despite this confusing definition, its meaning is very simple: energy is just the force that causes things to move.
