Reasons I am interested in this job :

Apart from the company’s core business that is plastic injection moulding, ranging from clamping force capacity of 40 tons to 650 tons, Nagoya Plastic Industry also covers wide range of services including mould design, tool fabrication, spray painting, hot foil stamping, silk-screening, tampo printing, heat stacking, induction, ultrasonic welding, laser cut and sub-assemblies. I am interested in this job because i love working with something that involves raw material transformation and i believe that this position will allow me to gain more knowledge about plastic industry and how it works. Not only that i am interested in this job because i in plastic manufacturing we know exactly how we work matters. The products we create are real, they are tangible. We can look a them and know precisely what their impact is. Plus, the plastic manufacturing is so vast that we could making anything. 


Skills i have that match the requirements :

I am diligent and have a good skills that allowing me to cooperate and communicate effectively with others.  I am sure i will be able to contribute something capable for the growth of the company. At university i have been involved with various programs and i also run several projects for my club with my friends. I am confident that with the skills i have, i am able to cover new projects provided by the Project Management Team Leader. In addition, i also have a basic skill of 4m that looks at the material, method, machine, and man that always uses cause-effect diagrams by Kaoru Ishikawa. I believe the knowledge i gained from Manufacturing class, Project Management class and Technology Policy class will give benefits to Nagoya Plastic Industry Sdn. Bhd. Furthermore, i have the strength of being able to arrange, implement, and monitor projects in terms of cost and time to completion without losing focus.


How i acquire my skills  :

There are some skill i lack, such as being an expert in Microsoft Excel. To deal with this, i used my free time during semester break to learn all the functions in Microsoft Excel. I have taken online class and learned about excel from social media. Furthermore, i learned a lot of useful skills in engineering drawing that using software like AutoCAD. 




Advantages IoT knowledge for Industrial engineer :

In my opinion, Internet of things give a lot of benefits for industrial engineer because IoT in Plastic Industry Solutions allow for smart manufacturing. IoT making it easier to collect and analyze data, strengthen, weaknesses and mitigate problems. It is also been proven to cause gains in production efficiency, quality, and time to market. Not only that, smart factories with IoT can provide benefits to customers too by sending them important and highly accurate timing information on their order, increasing communication and customer satisfaction.

Explain an example of 1 science concept that used in engineering.  Based on article that provided by Dr. Fadhilah, i can see the differences between scientist and engineer. Science aims to know while engineering aims to do. Science concept that used in engineering is science is a nature behaves in predictable ways.
